Services We Provide

Female paintingLicensed Neighborhood Group Homes – Community integrated, single family homes that are specifically designed for no more than 3 individuals.  These homes are licensed by the Delaware Division of Long Term Care.  The specific number of staff for a licensed Neighborhood Home is based on the individual’s support needs, as well as the combined support needs of all of the individuals who reside in the home. Supports in a Licensed Neighborhood home include: medication administration/monitoring, promoting general health and wellness, assistance with meal planning/preparation, budgeting, shopping, transportation, recreation and community outings/socialization.  These supports are individually tailored to each individual living in the home and Sea Care staff are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Community Living Arrangements (CLA) – Community integrated townhomes, condos and apartments that are designed for no more than 3 individuals.  These homes are certified by the Division of Developmental Disability Services.  Staffing for a CLA is based on the individual’s support needs and the needs of the home as a whole, however staffing can be as much as 24 hours per day or as little as 8 hours per day, depending on the needs of the individuals residing in the home.  Supports provided in a CLA include: medication administration/monitoring, promoting general health and wellness, assistance with meal planning/preparation, budgeting, shopping, transportation, recreation and community outings/socialization.  These supports are individually tailored to each individual living in the home and Sea Care staff are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless the individuals have unsupervised time.

Supported Living – Whether you live in your own apartment/home or you live with family members, Sea Care offers in home supports tailored specifically to the needs of each person. The Sea Care team provides individuals with a variety of traditional and non-traditional supports that include: transportation, coordination of medical appointments, budgeting, leisure planning, social networking and banking.  These supports are often referred to as “drop in supports” and can range anywhere from 15 to 40 hours per week.
